Direct Traffic: 

This occurs when somebody types your website URL on their browser. when people come straight to your site, either by typing your URL or having bookmarked your site it can be said as direct traffic. Paid Traffic:

Paid traffic are the visitors that come to your website through online advertising. These will be immediate result effective. This traffic comes from ads you have placed. The largest purveyor of this traffic is Google AdWords, an advertising avenue through Google. The text ads which appear beside organic search of Google when you search a term on Google are said to be paid ads. Here we pay for clicks on paid ads. 

Online advertising takes many shapes and forms and can be content-related or search-related. We hear often people working in digital marketing refer to SEM, or Search Engine Marketing. That’s an acronym for them who works with paid traffic.

This is a great way to cover more areas that potential customers may be searching for and an opportunity to reach out to customers in a new geographic area.
